Vote for the Snickers Play of the Week - January 24-30
Each week, edmontonoilers.com reviews all the top goals, saves, hits and fights and narrows it down to the final three. That means it's up to you, the fans, to decide which is the top play for the week.

Though the Oilers only played two games last week, there were still plenty of plays to choose from.  A goal, and saves from both Dubnyk and Khabibulin made this week's list.  Which one proved to be the best?  Watch the clips & vote!

Last week, a trio of shootout moves from the Oilers annual Skills Competition went head-to-head.  Magnus Paajarvi's Power moves beat out the competition with 49% of the votes.  Taylor Hall's Dazzling Dangles was second (42%), while Sam Gagner's Spin-o-Rama came in third (9%).

Paajarvi, Gagner, Omark Pay Off

Just a few minutes after Taylor Hall tied the game, Linus Omark put the Oilers up for the first time that night after some beauty passes by Paajarvi and Gagner.

Omark shot the puck from the offensive blueline where Ilya Bryzgalov was forced to make a save.  Paajarvi was able to pick up the rebound and pass it to Gagner who was behind the net. Gagner then made a fancy behind-the-back pass to Omark who finished the play off with a goal

Dubnyk's Last Second Sweep

The Coyotes came close to taking a 4-3 lead against the Oilers mid-way through the third, but Dubnyk was up for the task.

When Dubnyk made the initial save on a Paul Bissonnette shot, the puck sat lying on the ice with an open net behind it.  But Dubnyk was able to sweep up the chance before any opposing players could take advantage of the opportunity.

Khabby's Series of Saves

Late in the game against Dallas on Wednesday night, Khabibulin made a trio of saves to keep the score at a stalemate.

After Stars player Steve Ott blasted a shot at Khabibulin, a shot he was able to save, Ott grabbed his own rebound and tried to bang it past Khabibulin who denied his chance.  Aaron Gagnon then tried to do the same thing, but again Khabibulin was able to prevent the puck from crossing the line, and even swept a chance away after the puck was lying in the crease behind him.
