Oilers assign Chorney

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have assigned defenceman Taylor Chorney to Oklahoma City of the American Hockey League.
Chorney, 23, was recalled to the Oilers on December 10 and played in six games collecting two assists.
The 6’0”, 193-pound Thunder Bay, Ontario native has appeared in 40 games with Oklahoma City scoring three goals and adding 12 assists.
Edmonton Oilers hockey is presented in part by the Rexall Family of Pharmacies, Molson Canadian, ATB Financial, Cenovus Energy and Ford.
