Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation Announces Christmas Funding
Edmonton, AB – The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) will be making the holiday season merrier for a number of Oil Country’s charities.  The EOCF announced today over $90,000 in funding which will benefit the following organizations that focus their efforts on children, youth or health & wellness:

•    630 CHED Santa’s Anonymous
•    Ben Calf Robe
•    Boyle Street Community Services
•    Christmas Bureau of Edmonton
•    Crystal Kids
•    E4C – Mother Theresa Lunch on Thursdays
•    Edmonton Inner City Children’s Project
•    Edmonton People in Need Shelter Society
•    Grande Prairie & District Grief Support Association
•    Kids in the Hall Bistro
•    Meals on Wheels
•    Mustard Seed
•    Friends of PAAFE
•    The Salvation Army
•    Winnifred Stewart Association

“Every holiday season the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation is proud to make significant contributions to charitable organizations throughout Oil Country,” said Natalie Minckler, EOCF Executive Director. “These contributions help to make the holiday season and the New Year brighter for these organizations that do tremendous work in our communities.”

The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation is proud to work with the Oilers Players and Oilers Ladies to bring their annual fundraising total to over $1.4 million. Since its inception in 2001, the EOCF has donated over $15 million to charities across Oil Country.

The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) is dedicated to building strong and vibrant communities by contributing its resources and financial support to charitable organizations that serve the residents of Oil Country. The EOCF has worked to change lives in Oil Country through their support of a host of deserving organizations. The Foundation gives back in excess of $1 million annually to registered charities throughout Central and Northern Alberta who focus their activities on youth, education and health and wellness.

Edmonton Oilers hockey is presented in part by the Rexall Family of Pharmacies, Molson Canadian, ATB Financial and Ford.
