Oklahoma City Barons on CBC this Sunday

The NHL Network in the United States has agreed to air all 10 of the “AHL on CBC” games during the 2010-11 season. The “AHL on CBC” is a 10-game series produced by the Canadian Broadcasting Company that features head-to-head games between the American Hockey League affiliates of the six Canadian NHL teams. This Sunday, the Barons, the top affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers will take on the Hamilton Bulldogs, the top affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens. Faceoff is 11:00 a.m. MDT.
The Barons will skate in three games this weekend beginning tonight at home against the San Antonio Rampage at 7:05 p.m. The Barons are offering $1 Beer and a limited number of $10 tickets available after 5 p.m. Saturday, the Barons embark on an eight-day, five-game road trip beginning in Toronto at 3 p.m. (MDT). Sunday, the team stops in Hamilton for their televised contest with the Bulldogs.
NOTES: Due to a conflict with the Oklahoma State football game against Nebraska, the Barons game Saturday afternoon against Toronto will be heard on AM 1000 KTOK. The game can also be heard on the Barons website.
