Oilers sign Strudwick & Petiot
Alberta natives ink one-year contracts with club

Strudwick, 34, finished last season appearing in 72 games collecting six assists and 50 penalty minutes. The 6’4” 225 lbs defenceman has played in 631 NHL games and has 53 points (13G, 40A) and 788 PIM.
The Edmonton, AB native has also seen stops in Long Island, Vancouver, Chicago and New York throughout his career.
Strudwick was originally drafted by the New York Islanders in the 3rd round (63rd overall) in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft.
Petiot, 27, played last season with the Toronto Marlies in the American Hockey League appearing in 45 games collecting 14 points (3G, 11A). He has played in 13 NHL games posting three assists.
The 6’4”, 215 lbs Daysland, AB native was originally drafted in the 4th round (116th overall) by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
