Halloween & house update
Sorry for taking so long between blogs but I’ve been pretty busy. The house is coming along but these things always take longer than expected. I have an interior designer working with me and my mom on some of the decorations. I guess one of the big things for me is that I made an addition from six TVs to seven in the basement but you’ll get to see all that once the video guys come over.

Living without the boys has taken some adjustments. I’ve tried to invite Andrew and Sam over but they’re giving me the cold shoulder right now. Earlier this week we were supposed to go for a movie but neither of them showed up. The one guy I always rely on for movies is Nilsson and he showed up thankfully.

Speaking about movies, I just say the Law Abiding Citizen with Gerard Butler and it was one of the better movies I’ve seen in a long time. I’ve also seen a lot of crappy movies but you probably don’t want to hear about those.

I also went and saw on of my favorite artists Keith Urban and then I saw Russell Peters. I had never even heard of him until I got here because he’s not that popular yet in the U.S. but he’s hilarious. He was up there for almost two hours and we were laughing the whole time.

The only other thing I really want to mention is the Oilers Halloween party. I went with my girlfriend and she dressed up as a cowgirl, so I did too. I wore chaps and booty shorts and a pink flannel shirt with a pink hat. It was pretty brave of me but I’ll admit that I did look pretty good for a girl. A couple guys were grabbing my butt at the party and I don’t want to give it away but one of them is named Andrew and the other we call Laddy.

I also got a chance to meet Hilary Duff, so that was pretty cool. She actual did a karaoke duet with Jason Strudwick and you can really tell when someone THINKS they’re a good singer but they’re really not when they get paired up with an actual singer. I think Jason will be a little more shy in the karaoke scene from now on.

We just landed in Calgary a little while ago so I should probably get going.

Talk to you later,
Tom
