Two Oilers players are suiting up for their respective countries at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games from February 16 through February 27 this month. Oilers President of Hockey Operations Kevin Lowe also had a hand in putting together Team Canada as the team's Assistant Executive Director. 

Canada came out strong against Russia and carried that momentum throughout the game in a huge 7-3 win over their historic rivals.

Oilers defenceman Denis Grebeshkov picked up an assist in the game - his lone assist through the four games he played in the tournament. The loss to Russia spells the end of the tourney for Grebeshkov.

However, one Oiler who sees his tournament continue is Lubomir Visnovsky. Visnovsky's Slovakian squad pulled off an upset of Sweden, winning the game 4-3. The victory sets up a semifinal showdown on Friday at 7:30 p.m. MST when Slovakia takes on Team Canada for the right to play in the Gold Medal Game.
