Oilers recall Taylor Chorney

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Taylor Chorney from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Chorney, 22, has played 21 games with the Falcons collecting four goals and five assists. The Thunder Bay, ON native has appeared in 13 NHL games with the Oilers this season posting one assist.
Chorney was selected by the Oilers in the 2nd round, 36th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
