Oilers recall Dubnyk; Pitton assigned to Stockton

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled goaltender Devan Dubnyk from Springfield of the American Hockey League. They have also reassigned Bryan Pitton to Stockton of the ECHL.
Dubnyk was sent down to Springfield Friday morning where he played in two games in a home and home series versus the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The Falcons lost both games 3-2 but Dubnyk stopped 69 of 75 shots he faced.
Pitton has appeared in 17 games this year with the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL. He has a 7-8-1 record with a 3.15 GAA and .912 SV%. He has not appeared in a game for the Edmonton Oilers.
