Jordan Eberle's Team Canada squad had a huge day, defeating Latvia 16-0 in Saskatoon. Eberle had two goals for his country in the game.
Meanwhile, Anton Lander and Magnus Paajarvi-Svensson both racked up the points in a 10-1 romp over the Czech Republic. Lander scored twice while Paajarvi-Svensson had five points (1g, 4a).
