General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled goaltender Bryan Pitton from Stockton of the ECHL. They have also reassigned Devan Dubnyk to Springfield of the American Hockey League.

Pitton has appeared in 13 games this year with the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL. He has a 4-7-1 record with a 3.28 GAA and .907 SV%. .

The Mississauga, ON native was originally selected by the Oilers 133rd overall (5th round) in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Dubnyk, who was recalled on November 21, played in one game, his first career NHL appearance, in which he played 52 minutes stopping 21 shots with a no decision.
