Tickets for the Winner’s Choice Lottery are going fast and with 3,325 great choices to be made, you don’t want to miss out. This year’s grand prize is a remarkable 4,400 square foot home, fully furnished and professionally decorated and landscaped - or $2 million in cash. Other top prizes include a 951 square foot condo in Canmore or $500,000, a new 2009 Mastercraft boat or $54,000, and hundreds of prizes or cash to choose from.

All proceeds from the Winner’s Choice Lottery will go to the redevelopment of the Inner City High School. This new facility will provide a high quality education to 150 students and will include healthcare and counseling rooms, elder’s room, childcare facilities and a residence. With this redevelopment project, the EOCF will help meet the needs of future generations of young people in the community.

“The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation is thrilled to be supporting the redevelopment of Inner City High”, said Natalie Minckler, Executive Director of the EOCF. “Through this lottery we are able to offer fantastic prizes to our ticket purchasers while making a significant contribution to a very important project.”

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
Established in 2001, the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) continues the Oilers legacy of giving back by contributing its unique resources and financial support to charitable organizations that serve the communities of Northern Alberta.  Led by a dedicated community Board of Directors, the EOCF has developed a number of programs and partnerships that target those who need it most.

The EOCF raises its funds through a variety of fundraising initiatives that take place during Oilers home games and the generous contributions of Oilers fans and friends.

The Foundation gives back in excess of $1 million annually to charitable organizations registered with Revenue Canada whose programs support education and health and wellness for youth throughout Oil Country.
