Participating coaches were treated to on-ice sessions led by Steve Serdachny, Tom Renney and Pat Quinn who spoke about training at all ages, practice preparation and coaching experiences. Today’s session closed with a keynote speech delivered by Oilers President of Hockey Operations, Kevin Lowe.
“I know I will not only benefit from the class but my players and other coaches within our organization will as well when I share with them my experience,” said a participating coach. “This clinic was truly appreciated."
Hockey Alberta took part in today’s Oilers Coaches Clinic presented by EnCana by running an on-ice session and providing coaching information. Hockey Canada also provided training information for the coaches’ take home manual which all participants received.
