For the Regina Pats, the return of Jordan Eberle after a strong training camp and pre-season with the Oilers, has definitely been a blessing and sparked the Pats offense in a huge way. He came in and was put on a line with Jordan Weal and Brett Leffler and formed instant chemistry.

The trio combined for 6 goals and 11 points in a 9-3 bombing of the Prince Albert Raiders on September 30th. Jordan Eberle had 2 goals and 2 assists in the game while his line mates Jordan Weal picked up the hat trick and Brett Leffler had a goal and 3 assists.

October 2nd was against the Swift Current Broncos where Eberle and the Pats scored 6 goals to take the Broncos 6-1. Eberle banked another 2 goals in the match while his same line mates also tallied multiple points.

Eberle’s third game with the Pats was the very next night on October 3rd against the Red Deer Rebels. Once again the Pats were the dominant team winning 7-3. Jordan Eberle has only played in three games and already has 4 goals and 4 assists for 8 points and is sitting at a +5 for the Regina Pats. His trio alone has a combined 11 goals and picked up 25 points in the three games.

The Oilers prospect was dropped down on September 27th to play for his respected junior team this year in hopes he will grow and strengthen his already amazing skills and attitude. Pat Quinn says he is not quite ready for the NHL but he had a great training camp.

"Jordan has another year in junior. He did a terrific job here, we want him to go back and lead team canada and his junior team and be the top guy there, get a lot of playing time. We're trying to make the best decision for him in junior time left so we decided that was the best thing for him.

We really like Jordan, I've had him before, I love his smarts, his attitude is terrific, he's a really good young man, he has a good basic understanding of the game and he'll continue to hopefully build up his physical side and still play with the same sort of smarts and have a year of more experience when he comes back at a top leadership level. I have no doubt in my mind that he will play in the National League, he's just not going to start there this year." Pat Quinn comments on cutting Jordan Eberle down to the Regina Pats.
