The Edmonton Oilers trimmed their roster by five tonight, leaving the club with 27 players. The following players were assigned: Assigned to Springfield (AHL): Devan Dubnyk (G), Taylor Chorney (D), Rob Schremp (C), Kip Brennan (LW)
Assigned to Regina (WHL): Jordan Eberle (C)
