Brennan will be entering his ninth full season of pro hockey after splitting the 2008-09 campaign in Finland, with the ECHL’s South Carolina Stingrays and ending the year with the AHL’s Hershey Bears.  Brennan was a member of the Hershey squad that captured the 2009 Calder Cup Championship. 

The 6-foot-4, 222-pound native of Kingston, Ontario is a veteran of 259 career AHL games collecting 25 goals, 19 assists and 1,284 penalty minutes.  Brennan has spent time with the AHL’s Lowell Lock Monsters, Manchester Monarchs, Chicago Wolves, Portland Pirates, Toronto Marlies, Hershey Bears and Bridgeport Sound Tigers during his pro career. 

Brennan was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the fourth round (103^rd overall) in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.  He has played in 61 career NHL contests seeing time with the Kings, Atlanta Thrashers, Anaheim Ducks and New York Islanders.
