Reddox, 23, played 46 games with the Oilers last season, posting five goals and seven assists for 12 points and 10 penalty minutes. He registered his first career NHL goal and point on November 15, 2008 vs. Colorado, only one day after being recalled from the team's AHL affiliate, the Springfield Falcons. The Whitby, ON native started the season with five goals, four assists, and two penalty minutes in 14 games with the Falcons, bringing his AHL total to 53 points (21 + 32) in 79 career games.
Reddox was Edmonton's fourth choice (112th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Potulny, 24, played eight games with the Oilers in 2008-09, tallying three points. The 6'0", 190-pound center spent the remainder of the season in Springfield, scoring a career-high 38 goals and 24 assists to lead the Falcons with 62 points in 70 games. Potulny's 38 goals was third among all AHL scorers, an achievement that earned him a spot in the 2009 AHL All Star Classic.
Originally drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the third round (87th overall) in 2003, Potulny has recorded seven goals, 10 assists, and 26 penalty minutes in 52 career NHL games with the Flyers and Oilers. The Grand Forks, ND native averaged over a point per game in three seasons with the NCAA's University of Minnesota Golden Gophers before turning pro, including finishing first in NCAA scoring in 2005-06 with 38 goals and 63 points in 41 games.
