Vermillion Rotary Pee Wee Tigers to skate with Edmonton Oilers
The Edmonton Oilers announced today that the Vermillion Rotary Pee Wee Tigers will join the Oilers on-ice at Rexall Place this Sunday for Edmonton Oilers Superskills, presented by McDonalds! The Tigers were selected from numerous entries received in a Hockey Alberta online promotion that asked Pee Wee teams in Zones 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 & 8 to register for the chance to compete with the Oilers in Superskills.

The Vermillion Rotary Pee Wee Tigers met all criteria required to be chosen as the winning team. The Tigers were in good standing with Hockey Alberta, properly expressed their philosophy on coaching, and demonstrated a commitment to community involvement. The Tigers joined the Vermillion Rotarians in completing a Centennial project, which included building a wildlife area and walking trail, and also participated in Vermillions In Bloom competition by picking up garbage and planting trees and flowers.

The Tigers will join the Edmonton Oilers at Superskills this Sunday, and will compete in four competitions, including the Puck Control Relay, Hardest Shot, Shooting Accuracy and King of the Shootout.

Tickets are still available for Edmonton Oilers Superskills, presented by McDonalds, at the Rexall Place Box Office, Jubilee Auditorium Box Office, online by clicking here, or by calling 414-GOAL. Tickets are $8 in advance, and $10 at the door.

Doors to Rexall Place will open at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 26th, with the Superskills competition beginning at 1:00 p.m.
