The Edmonton Oilers have released a limited edition canvass gicle entitled Edmonton Oilers Stanley Cup Playoffs 2006 for fans and collectors. The museum quality reproduction captures the depth and character of the Edmonton Oilers as they pursue the Stanley Cup for the 20th time in team history.

A limited quantity of unsigned prints are available now for only $299.99, while only 100 of the Captains Series are available for $449.99, autographed by Oilers Captains Jason Smith, Ethan Moreau and Ryan Smyth. Fans can also purchase one of 9 copies of the Team Edition, signed by the entire Oilers team, for $999.99.
Loosely translated from French, gicle means "to spray ink", and the printing process involves the spraying of archival quality, lightfast inks on to a canvas that has been varnished and stretched on a box frame.
