Tonight as the Edmonton Oilers take on the St. Louis Blues at Rexall Place, fans at the game will be able to test their Irish luck in the annual St. Patrick’s Day Puck Surprise promotion.

Individually wrapped Oilers signed pucks will be sold for $20 each on the main concourse. Each Oiler signed one puck in gold ink and the 25 lucky fans who un-wrap those special pucks will win a team signed stick. All proceeds of the Puck Surprise promotion will also go to the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation in support of the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Northern Alberta and the Rainbow Society of Alberta.

In addition,
the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) is launching the St. Patrick’s Day Puck Surprise Online Auction today at 3:00pm MST. Oilers fans across Oil Country and around the world will be able to bid on 60 lots, including memorabilia from the Anderson Retirement Ceremony, Oilers Alumni signed items, current team signed items and various other game-used equipment and sticks.

“The online auctions are an excellent opportunity for fans to collect one-of-a-kind Oilers memorabilia,” said EOCF Executive Director, Natalie Minckler. “All the proceeds of this auction will be donated to the EOCF in support of the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Northern Alberta and the Rainbow Society of Alberta.”

This auction is the fourth of five EOCF online auctions this year. Bidding begins at 3:00pm MST on March 17th and closes at 9:00pm MST on March 31st with staggered end times. Visit edmontonoilers.com regularly until the end of the month to bid on your favourite items.
