The Oilers Ladies outdid themselves with highly coveted items like an Ovechkin signed jersey, a fishing trip with Zack Stortini and Ethan Moreau’s luxury suite for an Oilers game at Rexall Place. Kyle Brodziak’s basket yielded the highest bids bringing in $3,500; the basket included a Gretzky autographed jersey and a round of golf with Kyle.
“The Oilers Favourite Things program has been yet another example of our players and their families’ commitment to our community,” said EOCF Executive Director, Natalie Minckler. “The Oilers Ladies have gone above and beyond to make this program a true success.”
The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) is dedicated to building strong and vibrant communities by contributing its resources and financial support to charitable organizations that serve the residents of Oil Country. Since 2001, the EOCF has worked to change lives in Oil Country through their support of a host of deserving organizations. The Foundation gives back in excess of $1 million annually to registered charities throughout Central and Northern Alberta who focus their activities on youth, education and health and wellness.
The Edmonton Oilers 30th Anniversary Season is presented in part by the Rexall Family of Pharmacies, Bell, Molson Canadian, ATB Financial and Ford.
