Peckham recalled from Springfield
Fourth recall for the 6'2" defenceman
General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Theo Peckham from the Springfield Falcons.
In 44 games with Springfield the 6’2”, 223 pound defenceman has scored 6-13-19 with 81 penalty minutes to rank fourth on the Falcons scoring list. He is Springfield’s leading scorer among defencemen and ranks fourth in powerplay scoring with 3-5-8.
This is the fourth recall of the season for Peckham, who was previously recalled from Springfield on October 23rd, November 6th and February 6th. He appeared in his first game of the season with the Oilers in Edmonton’s 5-4 loss at Pittsburgh on November 6th, registering a career-high 17 penalty minutes and also skated against the Detroit Red Wings on February 7th at Joe Louis Arena.
