Oilers assign Peckham to Springfield
Defenceman appeared in Oilers road game at Detroit Feb. 7
General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have assigned defenceman Theo Peckham to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Peckham was recalled from Edmonton’s AHL affiliate on February 6th and appeared in the Oilers’ road game at Detroit on February 7th. He is scoreless in two games with the Oilers this season.
In 43 games with Springfield the 6’2”, 223 pound defenceman has scored 6-13-19 with 81 penalty minutes to rank fourth on the Falcons scoring list. He is Springfield’s leading scorer among defencemen and ranks fourth in powerplay scoring with 3-5-8.
