On Monday, the Edmonton Oilers returned to Rexall Place following the all-star break for a practice at 3:00 p.m. A number of items were covered including Andrew Cogliano's return from all-star weekend in Montreal, the Vincent Lecavalier rumours, the recent play of Ales Hemsky and more.
We also cover injury updates as Fernando Pisani stepped on the ice for the first time since breaking his ankle and Zack Stortini stepped up his on-ice rehab program.
Sam Gagner was absent from practice and MacTavish commented that his ankle injury may be a little more serious than first thought.
