Drouin-Deslauriers recalled from Springfield
Goaltender returns after two-week conditioning assignment
General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled goaltender Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Drouin-Deslauriers had been assigned to the Oilers affiliate on December 29th for a two-week conditioning assignment. He appeared in five games for the Falcons and was 1-4-0 with a 2.73 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage.
He will join the team in Washington later today as the Oilers open a three-game road trip versus the Washington Capitals on Tuesday, January 13th. Following the game in the United States capital the Oilers will visit Minnesota (January 15th) and Colorado (January 16th) before returning home to host the Phoenix Coyotes on Sunday, January 18th.
