The Edmonton Oilers had an optional practice on Monday at Rexall Place on the heels of a convincing 5-2 win against the Nashville Predators.
However, while the majority of players skated at the optional practice one of them who didn't was Robert Nilsson. Head coach Craig MacTavish commented on that as well as the assignment of Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers to Springfield and a number of other topics.
