The event was held at Predator Ridge Golf Resort in Vernon, British Columbia. Each participant had two seats on a privately chartered flight from Edmonton to Kelowna with members of the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club along with ground transportation from Kelowna to Vernon upon landing.
Participants golfed a round on both Thursday and Friday and had one night’s stay at the Golf Resort. Lunch and beverages were served during both rounds of golf with dinner and great entertainment concluding the opening day. A buffet breakfast was served on Friday morning.
Each participating golfer had an Oilers player, alumni or staff member complete their foursome. The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation event raised money for various charities throughout Northern Alberta.
