Winchester, the Oilers second choice in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, was third on the Bulldogs scoring list with 26-14-40 through 40 games with 118 penalty minutes. His 26 goals leads Hamilton and he also tops the team with 16 powerplay goals.
The 65", 215-pound native of Madison, Wisconsin made his NHL debut with Edmonton earlier this season. He is scoreless with nine penalty minutes in 15 games with the Oilers.
