Oilers sign Carl Corazzini to one-year deal

The Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with forward Carl Corazzini on a one-year contract.

Corazzini is coming off a career season with the AHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins, recording career-highs in assists (36) and points (60) after collecting 24-36-60 in 80 games played.

Entering his eighth professional season in 2008-09, the Framingham, Massachusetts native has played 19 career NHL games with the Boston Bruins (12 games in 2003-04) and Chicago Blackhawks (7 games in 2006-07), recording three points (2-1-3).
