Throughout the season, the Edmonton Oilers have provided their fans with an exciting brand of hockey filled with end-to-end action and great plays culminating with a thrilling stretch run.
We have taken 16 of the best plays from the past season in an attempt to narrow them down to the one moment to be deemed "play of the year". Fans will be able to vote throughout the process as the plays face off head-to-head.
After the first round of voting, Oilers fans have now narrowed down the results from 16 to 8.
Seven of the eight first round matches were won decisively with the closest competiton being Sam Gagner's goal (Hemsky no-look pass) versus Robert Nilsson's shootout goal at Colorado. Gagner's goal won out with 51% versus 49% for Nilsson.
The eight winning plays will now square off in the second round of the competition. Check the bracket below for results at a glance then follow the link to get voting!
You have until late Wednesday to vote. The "Final Four" will be announced Thursday morning.
