OILERS RECALL DROUIN-DESLAURIERS

The Edmonton Oilers have recalled goaltender Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Drouin-Deslauriers, a 6’4”, 189 pound native of St-Jean-Richelieu, Quebec, has appeared in 12 of the Falcons’ 15 games this season and is 6-2-3 with a 2.22 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage. The 23-year-old goaltender was ranked among the AHL leaders in wins (4th) and goals-against average (9th).
The Oilers’ second choice, 31st overall, in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Drouin-Deslauriers made his pro debut in 2004-05. He was 22-12-3 with four shutouts and a 2.47 goals-against average in 40 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) in 2006-07.
