The Edmonton Oilers will open their 2007-08 ATCO Training Camp on Thursday, September 13th, with the first on-ice sessions open to the public at Rexall Place on Friday, September 14th.

The Oilers’ 28th NHL training camp opens on Thursday, September 13th with players undergoing medicals and fitness testing at the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic at the University of Alberta.

A total of 60 players (36 forwards, 18 defencemen and six goaltenders) will hit the ice at Rexall Place on Friday-Saturday, September 14th-15th with both days’ sessions being open to the public free of charge.

The Joey Moss Cup Game will conclude the Oilers ATCO Training Camp on Sunday, September 16th. The Oilers annual inter-squad game will start at 1:00 p.m. with the doors of Rexall Place opening to the public at 12 Noon.

Tickets for the Joey Moss Cup Game are $5 each with all proceeds being donated to the Winnifred Stewart Association and Joey’s Home by the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation.

The Oilers open their 2007-08 NHL pre-season with back-to-back home games as they host the Florida Panthers on Monday, September 17th and the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday, September 18th. Face-off for both games at Rexall Place is 7:00 p.m.

Following three road games at Vancouver (September 20th), Calgary (September 22nd) and Phoenix (September 25th), the Oilers will conclude their pre-season schedule with home games against the Calgary Flames (Wednesday, September 26th at 7:00 pm) and Vancouver Canucks (Saturday, September 29th at 6:00 pm).
