Morrison recalled from Greenville

The Edmonton Oilers have recalled goaltender Mike Morrison from his conditioning assignment with the Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL.
Morrison, who was assigned to Greenville on January 5th, appeared in seven games for the Grrrowl during his conditioning assignment and registered a 6-1-0 record with a 1.95 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage. He allowed only 14 goals against in his seven outings and stopped 186 of the 200 shots he faced.
Two of his six wins came in overtime, including one in a 5-4 OT shootout win at Gwinnett on January 12th. He joins the Oilers following three consecutive wins this past week as he registered back-to-back wins over Gwinnett (5-4 OT SO on Jan. 12 & 4-1 on Jan. 13) and a 4-1 win at Augusta last night (Jan. 14).
Overall this season, Morrison is 7-2-0 with a 2.19 GAA and .922 save percentage in nine games with Greenville.
Morrison has appeared in 10 games with the Oilers this season and has compiled a 5-1-0 record with a 2.35 goals-against average and a .904 save percentage.
The 63", 194-pound native of Medford, Massachusetts made his NHL debut with the Oilers at Dallas on November 7th and registered his first NHL victory with a 31-save effort in a 5-2 win at Colorado on November 14th.
