The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) got into the Christmas spirit today by announcing a series of donations totaling $50,000 that will be invested back into 15 charities throughout the community.
Recipients of donations from the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation include:

Christmas Bureau of Edmonton
Dreams Take Flight
Edmonton Food Bank
Firefighters Burn Treatment Society
Hope Mission
Kids With Cancer Society
Meals on Wheels
Mustard Seed
Northern Alberta Brain Injury Society
Pilgrims Hospice
United Way of Edmonton
United Way of Fort McMurray
United Way of Grande Prairie
United Way of Lloydminster
"Our Foundation provides support all year round, but it is especially important to do what we can at this time of year to help support the under-served, and to encourage those with the means to join us in charitable giving," said Gillian Andries, Executive Director of the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation.
The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation is dedicated to building strong and vibrant communities by contributing its unique resources and financial support to charitable organizations that serve the communities of Northern Alberta.
