Pronger, Smyth named to Team Canada

Pronger and Smyth both represented their country back in 2002 when Canada won the Gold Medal in Salt Lake City.
Pronger also played in the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, Japan. In six games at Nagano, Pronger had four assists.
The defenceman also suited up for six games in the 2002 Olympics, registering one assist and two penalty minutes.
Smyth has answered the call for Canada in the World Championships seven times in addition to participating in the 2002 Olympics.
In 60 games at the World Championships, "Captain Canada" has scored 15 goals and added 16 assists for 31 points. No other player has suited up for Canada as often. Smyth had one assist in six games at the 2002 Olympics.
