Six Oiler prospects named to World Junior rosters

Hockey Canada and the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced on Monday that 34 of Canada's best junior-aged hockey players (born in 1986 or later), including Edmonton Oilers prospects Devan Dubnyk and Andrew Cogliano, have been invited to take part in Canada's National Junior Selection Camp from December 11-16, 2005 at PNE in Vancouver, BC.
TEAM CANADA
Team USA will gather in Seattle, Wash., on Dec. 18 before traveling to Victoria, British Columbia, on Dec. 19 where it will commence its mini-camp before the tournament begins. The three Oilers prospects are defenceman Taylor Chorney of the University of North Dakota, forward Rob Schremp of the London Knights and forward Geoff Paukovich of the University of Denver.

Team Sweden will feature Calgary Hitmen forward Fredrik Pettersson, who was drafted the club this past June. He has 23 points in 30 games with the Hitmen so far this season.
