The Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Dan Smith from the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.
This is the second time that the 62", 200 pound native of Fernie, British Columbia has been recalled to Edmonton this season. Smith was previously recalled from Hamilton on November 4th and was scoreless with seven penalty minutes and +1 in seven games with the Oilers before being assigned to Hamilton on November 19th.
An assistant captain with Hamilton, Smith has scored two assists with 15 penalty minutes in 15 games for the Bulldogs this season.
