Rob Schremp Signs Three-Year Contract

The Edmonton Oilers have signed centre Rob Schremp to a three-year entry level contract.
The 511", 200 pound forward was the Oilers second choice in the first round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Schremp scored one goal in six pre-season games with the Oilers before being returned to the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League on October 3rd.
"We are pleased to sign Rob to his first NHL contract," says Oilers Assistant General Manager Scott Howson. "He had an outstanding training camp with us and we are looking forward to him playing a part in the future success of the Oilers."
The 19-year-old native of Fulton, New York had a memorable year with London in 2004-05 scoring a career-high 41-49-90 to finish third on the Knights scoring list and fourth in the OHL scoring race. He added another 29 points, including 13 goals, during a playoff run that saw the Knights win the OHL title and the Memorial Cup.
A member of Team USA at the 2005 IIHF World Championship in North Dakota, Schremp has scored 97-142-239 in 190 career games in the OHL over the last three seasons.
