Oilers recall Rob Schremp

The Edmonton Oilers have recalled centre Rob Schremp from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League.

The 511", 200-pound native of Syracuse, New York will join the Oilers in Minneapolis/St. Paul for their game against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday, April 5th.

  • The Oilers second choice in the first round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, has enjoyed a productive rookie season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. In his first professional season, Schremp has scored 16-34-50 with 36 penalty minutes in 67 games. He is +2 and has netted eight powerplay goals.

    Schremp ranks fourth on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton scoring list with his 50 points and is second in assists, third in powerplay goals and fourth in goals.
