INTERNATIONAL:

Represented Canada at 2007 Canada Games in Whitehorse, Yukon...played in 2007 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament...part of Team Canada’s gold-medal winning performance at the 2008 IIHF World Under-18 Championship...finished the tournament with 10 points in seven games, second in team scoring...represented Canada in the 2009 World Junior Championship in Ottawa where he placed 3rd in tournament scoring with 13 points (6G,7A)...scored dramatic game-tying goal with 5.4 seconds left vs Russia to send game to overtime...also scored in shootout win vs Russia...won silver medal with Canada at the 2010 World Junior Championship in Regina...was an alternate captain...named player of the game vs Switzerland when he amassed five points (1G,4A)...in gold medal game vs USA his clutch scoring continued when he scored twice with three minutes remaining to send the game to overtime...his tying goal with 1:35 left made his Canada’s all-time leading goal scorer in the tournament with 14...named to Team Canada as an alternate for the 2010 IIHF World Championship in Germany...in his first game he collected five points (1G,4A) to be named Player of the Game vs Norway.
