Oilers recall Lander

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled centre Anton Lander from the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.

The 6’0”, 194 pound centre has played in 45 games with the Barons this season, recording 19 points (8G, 11A), including a career-high six point game (3-3-6) last night against Rockford.

Lander has played in four games for the Oilers this season, registering one assist.

In a game against the Dallas Stars on February 6th, Lander blocked a shot and missed the following 16 games with a broken foot.
