GAME SUMMARY

The Oilers have been shutout twice in back-to-back games as the Oilers leave Nashville with a 6-0 loss. Devan Dubynk was pulled after the first period when he let in an goal from centre ice and replaced with Yann Danis. Danis was tested early and 51 seconds into the second, Rich Clune scored to extend the Nashville lead. The Predators were able to capitalize on two of the four powerplays while Pekka Rinne was sharp and stopped all 24 shots on net. The Oilers were outshot 34-24 and have now been shutout for 164:29.

THE TURNING POINT

David Legwand's goal from centre ice in the first period gave the Predators their second of the game. The puck takes a few bounces before beating Devan Dubynk on the glove side. The goal was Legwands's fourth of the season.

PLAY OF THE GAME

Fifty-one second into the second, after Devan Dubynk was replaced by Yann Danis, Rich Clune was able to pick up his own rebound and score to give the Predators a 3-0 lead.

THE MVP

Colin Wilson had two goal and two assists in the game, making Wilson the team leader with 19 points. He had three shots on net, with 18:50 of ice time and a +2 rating for the night. In his last 18 games, Wilson has five goals and 17 points.
