Oilers goalie Richard Bachman made his second straight start in net with Devan Dubnyk still on the mend with an ankle injury.

Hoping to build off of a 47 save performance in his debut, Bachman saved just 19 of 23 shots that he faced in a 4-0 loss. However, the numbers may not tell the whole story.

"I thought he played well again tonight," said Oilers Head Coach Dallas Eakins. "The 2-on-1 goals are tough for a goalie and the goal that Kessel scored, there's not many guys that are going to score that goal from right by the goal line to be able to roof it like that. I don't fault him on that won either. He played well again for me and we've got a day off tomorrow, I can think about it more and we'll see how (Devan Dubnyk) is going forward."
