BLOG: Oilers 'can't carry baggage' of loss
After a loss to Washington dropped their record to 1-4-1 on the season, the Oilers are trying to remain positive.
"You can't carry baggage around," said team captain Andrew Ference. "It's easy to be a good teammate and do the right things and have a good attitude when you're winning. But it's a real test when things aren't going your way... It's a challenge to see what we're all made of. We want to see the fruits of our labour eventually."
The Oilers get a chance to have a short memory and quick turnaround as they play the Penguins in Pittsburgh tomorrow night.
